THE BOOK
The stories included in this book come from patients and their caregivers from the Oasis of Hope Hospital, which treats patients for a variety of cancers. Care for others is not limited to just cancer, but these caregivers write from those circumstances. Many of these stories can certainly apply easily to caregiving situations of patients suffering from other diseases.
This book has a webpage (www.theotherpatient.net) where you can share your own stories, as this book is just the tip of the iceberg. I have kept this first book purposely short, as subsequent volumes will be forthcoming as the stories and advice become available.
